Izzledin Bukhari, a 38 year-old Palestinian chef from the Old City of Jerusalem, has invested his life’s work in researching, preserving, and cooking traditional Palestinian cuisine.
Izzledin’s father’s family has lived in the Old City of Jerusalem since 1616 AD, when his ancestors migrated from Bukhara, Uzbekistan to teach Sufism in Jerusalem.
